Update your mobile number linked to Aadhaar before you actually need OTP verification
Fix it now, not while you are stuck at a bank counter needing an OTP. Fewer than five independent reports so far, so it is still unverified — try it and file one.
Why it works
Aadhaar-based OTP verification only works if the number on file is one you still hold. People replace SIMs and switch carriers often enough that a years-old registration silently goes stale, and you only find out when a verification fails in front of someone waiting on you.
Did it work for you?
One report per person. This is the only thing that moves the badge — there is no like button.
