UnverifiedUnder 5 reports — try it and file one

Turn zippers and prints inside out before machine washing

The fabric takes the friction instead of the print or the coating. Fewer than five independent reports so far, so it is still unverified — try it and file one.

Why it works

Most washing damage — cracked prints, dulled colour, snagged zippers — comes from direct rubbing against other clothes in the drum. Turning the garment inside out puts plain fabric on the outside taking the friction, and the decorated or delicate side stays protected inside.
