UnverifiedUnder 5 reports — try it and file oneSafety note

Unplug the load before flipping a tripped breaker back on

Skips the second trip and tells you what actually caused the first one. Fewer than five independent reports so far, so it is still unverified — try it and file one.

SafetyIf the breaker trips again with nothing plugged in, stop and call an electrician — that is a wiring fault, not a load problem.

Why it works

A breaker trips because current exceeded its rating, usually from one appliance. Flipping it back on with everything still plugged in reproduces the same load and trips it again; unplugging first isolates whether it was a one-off surge or a genuine overload.
